DESCRIPTION:All welcome who are invited by the Sooke Teacher’s Association.\nDescription:\nThis hands-on workshop includes provides an opportunity for participants to bring their learning to life by engaging in playful and powerful activities that are specifically designed to help lower aggression, awaken feeling, and build a sense of connection and community in the classroom. Participants gain exposure to relationship-based activities, always through the lens of creating the conditions for emotional safety. Most importantly, by trying these activities themselves, participants leave the workshop with invaluable insights and the confidence to lead the children in their care through the very same experiences in their classrooms. Discover the extraordinary power of engaging in inside-out activities together in community so that you can gift it to others!\nPrerequisite: To book the experiential workshop, participants must have attended the professional development sessions of either:\n• Emotional Health in Our Schools (Full day seminar) or\n• Building Healthy, Thriving Learning Communities (Full day seminar)\n
